Preliminary Round
The preliminary stage marks the start of the competition and is open to all registered participants. Registered participants will create individual STEM projects that improve existing products or solve an issue. They will be required to set specific materials (please view the “Guidelines and Details” document for specific details) to an upcoming website portal. Based on the scores in our rubrics and the sophistication of the project, top individuals will be selected by our judges for the final round.

Final Round
The final round is limited to participants who have displayed outstanding performance in the preliminary round. The final round will take place at the American School Dhahran campus, between May 30-31. In this in-person stage, top student researchers will compete for grand award prizes along with special award prizes from top companies.
